Allied Universal Completes 100th and 101st Acquisitions, Further Solidifies Rank as Global Leader in Security Industry
IRVINE, Calif. — Dec. 7, 2023 — Allied Universal®, the world’s leading security and facility services provider, today announced its acquisition of Nordic Security Services and Star Protection Services. The deals mark the company’s 100th and 101st acquisitions since 2010.

With rising interest rates, the company has slowed the pace of mergers and acquisition activities, however it remains focused on acquiring complementary companies with unique service offerings in strong markets.
Founded in 1991, Seattle-based Star Protection grew to be the largest privately owned security company in the Pacific Northwest with six branches throughout the Western U.S.
